This item will provide you with 1x Lucanus mazama larva.

Lucanus mazama is a species of stag beetle found in the southwestern U.S. It is the only Lucanus species found in the western states(Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico). Although they are not as impressive as their eastern counterparts, their ease of rearing and breeding make them an ideal choice for beginners.

Primarily feeds on rotten hardwood or flake soil.

Beetle larvae go through 3 different larval phases: L1, L2, and L3. After the L3 stage, the larva pupates to turn into an adult beetle!

Difficulty level: Beginner

THIS SPECIES IS NATIVE TO THE WESTERN U.S. BUT DO NOT RELEASE THEM IF THEY ARE NOT FOUND IN YOUR AREA.
