Odontolabis siva parryi is a stag beetle native to Taiwan that can grow up to 90mm in length. This species is recognized as an ideal introductory species within the Odontolabis genus due to its ease of rearing and breeding. However, the primary hurdle in raising them lies in achieving telodont males, which requires maintaining optimal temperature control and feeding high-quality flake soil.
Primarily feeds on rotten hardwood or flake soil.
Beetle larvae go through 3 different larval phases: L1, L2, and L3. After the L3 stage, the larva pupates to turn into an adult beetle!

Adult beetles or larvae are shipped with either a heat pack or cold pack depending on the weather conditions in your area; however, if the weather conditions are extreme(too cold or hot), the beetles will not be shipped until the weather conditions are favorable.
Larvae are shipped with enough substrate to last around a week so please have plenty of substrate ready for them!
Packages are usually sent out on Mondays-Wednesdays.
