This item will provide you 1x BLUE Mecynorrhina torquata ugandensis larva.

Mecynorhina torquata ugandensis is a flower beetle that originates from Uganda. Although they are similar to the Goliath beetle, there are many color variations within this species which makes them an attractive beetle for many hobbyists. The one currently sold on this website is a blue form, the most popular color morph for this species.

Primarily feeds on rotten hardwood or flake soil. Will also feed on dried river shrimp as a supplement.

Beetle larvae go through 3 different larval phases: L1, L2, and L3. After the L3 stage, the larva pupates to turn into an adult beetle!

Difficulty level: Beginner

THIS SPECIES IS NOT NATIVE TO THE U.S. AND IS NOT TO BE RELEASED OUTDOORS!
